How to endorse securities?
The procedure for endorsing securities is the following:
a. Physical securities:
Securities to the order should have the following text: ADMINISTRATION ENDORSEMENT TO INTERCLEAR CENTRAL DE VALORES S.A, furthermore, it should be indicated:
- Place
- Date
- Signature
- Identification Number
b. Physical shares to dematerialize:
These securities should have the following text: ADMINISTRATION ENDORSEMENT TO INTERCLEAR CENTRAL DE VALORES S.A INCLUDING THE POWER TO TRANSFER FROM HOLDER THIS DOCUMENT, furthermore, it should be indicated:
- Place
- Date
- Signature
- Identification Number
What validity time do the authenticity and non-payment orders have?
These are granted by the issuer and it has a durability of 2 business days.
How many decimals can be used in the net rate for physical securities and dematerialized individual securities (TID)?
It must have between 2 and 4 decimals and the amount of the coupon should match the net rate.
How many digits can be used while numbering securities?
The numbering must have a maximum of 12 digits.
What are the requirements to make dividend/partition payments through InterClear?
The customer must contact the Help Desk (Mesa de Ayuda) or include a CRM with:
- Nemotécnico Instrumento
- Nemotécnico emisor
- Deadline
- Value of each share or dividend
- Total amount deposited
- Transfers´ comission (regional)
What are the cash accounts to pay the different InterClear charges?

How to execute an international transfer?
To make transfers free payment through Clearstream there are tow options:
- Securities Reception: 4F instruction is placed in the CREVD, with the characteristics agreed with the counterpart (If the security does not exist in our records, a description of the BLOOMBERG system mut be sent, to proceed with the entry into the system).
- Securities transfer: 5F instruction is placed in the CREVD, with the characteristics agreed with the counterpart (the exchange post must make sure that it counts on the available securities in its custody).
What is the difference between instructions 4F-5F and 4F1-5F1?
The difference between those instructions is the following:
- Instructions 4F-5F are for reception and transfer of securities free of charge with international counterparts.
- 4F1-5F1 are instructions of reception and transfer of securities free-of-charge among local depositors´ subaccounts.
How to arrange a voluntary international corporate event?
To process a corporate event, the following procedure must be completed:
- The stock exchange must identify in the corporate event sent by the BNV: the due date to particpate (Clearstream Banking Deadline or Market Deadline Date).
- Next, a note must be sent to the BNV with the following information: ISIN number, CA reference, the option to participate, the operation number, the amount and the customer. In addtion, all the document required by the event must be sent.
- The participation request: it can be completed in to the BNV system through a CRM or customer service request.
- All information must be entered at least 24 hours before the indicated date.
What is the maximum date to send funds related to international purchases?
Funds must be sent one day before settlement (L-1), before 11:00 a.m.
What is the process for the payment of international due dates?
The procedure is the next:
- The issuer confirms the payment.
- Maturities are reflected in CREVD, in a status "to be confirmed".
- The payment order is sent to the Treasury (internal process).
- Once the funds are confirmed in the BCCR, they are confirmed in the CREVD (between 12md to 1 p.m).
What is Vestima?
It is a platform provided by Clearstream Banking for routing and closing instructions where customers can subscribe or redeem multiple investment funds (ETFs and mutual funds).
