Services for depositors

1. Reception and exit of securities

Subject to acceptance by InterClear*, the following may be subject to deposit:

- Physical securities (in vault)

- Dematerialized individual securities (in digital custody)

The deposit will be constituted by the delivery of the documents at the InterClear offices. These deposits of securities in order and registered form, must be endorsed in administration in order to justify the holding of securities and to grant InterClear the power to exercise the rights and services of these securities.

2. Administration of special custodians for holding

InterClear offers affiliate entities different types of holding according to the particular characteristics of the instruments. The types of holding that are offered are the following:

- CUSLI: holding in which all the securities that are subject to negotiation are deposited in the National Securities Exchange and contain the respective endorsement in administration.

- EPREV: holding in which the securities presented by the depositors are registered for trading on the National Stock Exchange and whose term at maturity is less than or equal to 360 days.

- DEPOS: holding in which the securities are registered that, due to their characteristics, are not allowed to be traded on the National Securities Exchange, do not have an ISIN code and are not provided with the service of collection and payment of maturities.

- DPCUS: holding of non-negotiable physical securities in the National Securities Exchange to which the management of collection and payment of maturities is provided, the corresponding administration endorsement is contained, and their maturity term is greater than 360 days.

3. Collection management and payment of maturities

The administration of values held by InterClear in own local accounts, implies the payment to affiliate entities of principal, interest and maturity of the held values.

Payment will be made once InterClear has received the respective items from the paying entities. If there are differences, observation should be made by the company's Help Desk.

In the case of currencies other than the Costa Rican Colon, payments will be credited according to their currency of origin, except in the case of development units, in which case they will be paid in colones.

4. Carrying out cash audits

InterClear offers the service of physical security archives in order to comply with periodic third-party reviews.

The affiliate entity or issuer sends a prior note for the request of cash audit, note that must include the following aspects: full name of the participants in the cash audit, identification number and stock market or client position. In addition, you must attach details of the values that you want to audit and once the request is reviewed, it is integrated into the PEPS queue system.

5. Management of non-payment orders

The control of lost securities is the responsibility of the issuing entity, since they are the ones that receive the loss instruction.

The issuer will send a formal note to InterClear with the particular characteristics of the lost physical securities, also indicating if it is issued to the order or to the bearer.

6. Record of book entry

To make any type of movement in relation to physical or individual securities that are held in InterClear, you must have the respective orders issued by the affiliate entity or the owner.

Orders such as pledges or depreciation of values, transfers, and notifications of lost securities can be drawn.
